Do you know how to recognize and appropriately respond to signs of mental health struggles in your team, balancing empathy with professional obligations?”

One in four people in the UK will experience a mental health condition this year according to Mind. Given these statistics it is very likely that you, as a line manager will, at some point, manage an individual with a mental health condition in your team and it is essential that you are able to support them.

This short workshop will help you as a line manager to:

  • Understand what mental health is
  • Be aware of the employment law around mental health and when it might be appropriate to seek external support

Know what to do when dealing with an employee who may be struggling with poor mental health

Who should attend the workshop

  • Managers, team leads and staff in a supervisory role within primary care

Workshop format

All participants will need access to a laptop or PC with camera and sound in a quiet space. Please have your camera on if possible during the training as this makes is more enjoyable for everyone.

Zoom joining instructions will be sent as part of the joining instructions.

We will send the slides out to all participants after the workshop.
